The School of Life Sciences is delighted to welcome the International Biology Olympiad to The University of Warwick in 2017. The School of Life Sciences is an international centre of excellence with more than 80% of our research rated as 'world leading or internationally excellent' in the latest 2014 Research Excellence Framework exercise. Our research is supported by cutting-edge computational and experimental facilities, including genomics, proteomics, biomedical services and imaging. Our researchers engage with colleagues across the University of Warwick and with other universities, research institutes and industry both nationally and internationally.

The School has a vibrant community of undergraduate and postgraduate students and delivers excellent quality teaching using a blend of traditional and innovative teaching methods.
